WhatsApp creates any account using the phone number which is attached to the mobile phone used so be aware of what information you put on your WhatsApp account because all what anybody who wants information about you will add your number in the contact list and WhatsApp will get the information of this number including profile picture ,status ,last seen ,etc... and this may be used in social engineering.
