CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate (How to be certified?)

In order to be certified with CCNA ,you have three ways:

1)By Cisco Networking Academy. (Recommended for those who has time and I think it is the best option)

Go to https://www.netacad.com/ and find any academy near your place.

After Registration ,you will be in an online class on the academy.

The  CCNA is a 4 semester course:

CCNA 1 - Network Fundamentals (11 Chapters)

CCNA 2 - Routing Protocols and Concepts (11 Chapters)

CCNA 3 - LAN Switching and Wireless (7 Chapters)

CCNA 4 - Accessing the WAN (8 Chapters)

Each semester contains number of chapters and a final exam. When you get a 75% or higher in the final exam of each semester ,you will have a Thank You letter from Cisco.

At semester 4 ,if you get a 75% or higher in the final exam ,you will have also a voucher 58% on the CCNA Industry Exam. Note that the voucher will expire in a year.

The course material is also available for the students even after finishing the class and you will get Packet Tracer (A Simulation Program from Cisco) and you will be a member in the Alumni Connection after taking the first semester final exam.

2)By anyone in any center. (For those who has no time and want to be certified so quickly)

Just ask and you will find thousands of these centers.

3)Self-Study. (Not Recommended in CCNA)

It will be amazing to study CCNA by yourself watching videos from the internet or by reading books or both.

Finally:
To be certified with CCNA ,you must pass 640-802 CCNA or 640-822 ICND1 and 640-816 ICND2

I will talk about 640-802 exam (I prefer to take one exam in CCNA). The exam's duration is 90 minutes and it is about (45 - 55) questions.

Note (1):

There are two CCNA:- 1)CCNA Discovery.     2)CCNA Exploration.

CCNA Discovery for those who has not an engineering background while CCNA Exploration for those who has an engineering background.

In this post ,I talk about CCNA Exploration as it is different in the name of the semesters from CCNA Discovery.


Note (2):
CCNA is valid for three years.
